[1] This funerary monument depicting a family group and datable to ca. 100 BC was once thought to be Athenian, but in fact its style and inscription indicate that, like several of the other monuments collected by Jeremiah Rawson and Benjamin Gott on their visit to Athens in 1817, it comes from Rheneia, the small island neighbouring Delos.
