Concerning the Rhodian People

In the archonship of Antimachos (256/5), in the fourth
prytany, of AiantisXI, for which Chairigenes
son of Chairigenes of MyrrhinousV was
secretary. On the twenty-fifth (hektei met' eikadas) of Pyanopsion,
(5) the twenty-fifth of the prytany.
Principal Assembly. Of the presiding committee
Kteson son of Menippos of Acherdous was putting to the vote
and his fellow presiding committee members. The Council
and People decided. Lykomedes son of
(10) Diochares of Konthyle[1] proposed: since
the Rhodian People continues to be of good will
to the Council and Athenian People
. . . and in
two fragmentary lines . . . and
[the sacred delegates (theōroi)] report [these things for the sake of the
city?], for good fortune,[2] the Council shall
decide: that the presiding committee (proedrous) allotted
(20) to preside in the People at the next
Assembly shall introduce the sacred delegates (theōrous) [who have come] . . . . . .
