Honours for a competition director

Decree 1 Muses.
In the archonship of Kallimedes (252/1), in the ninth prytany, of AiantisXI, for which
Kallias son of Kalliades of PlotheiaIV was secretary. On the twentieth or twenty-first (dekatēi -terai) of Elaphebolion,
the twenty-ninth of the prytany. Assembly in (the theatre) of Dionysos. Of the presiding committee
(5) Charias son of Heniochos of Pelekes was putting to the vote and his fellow presiding committee members.
The People decided. Neoptolemos son of Phileas of Deiradiotai proposed: concerning what
the competition director (agōnothetēs) reports about the sacrifices which he made to Dionysos and the other
gods to whom it is traditional, for good fortune, the People shall decide: to accept
the good things that occurred in the sacrifices which he made for the health and
(10) preservation of the Council and the Athenian People and the children and women
[[and for king Antigonos and queen Phila and their]] [[descendants]][1]; and since the competition director (agōnothetēs), placing high value
on piety to the gods and displaying the good will and
love of honour (philotimian) that he has for the Athenian People, made all
(15) the traditional sacrifices at the appropriate times well and piously, and
accomplished the pre-games sacrifices (tous prosagōnas) during the rites (hierois) according to tradition, and managed
the Dionysiac competitions and the others well and
with love of honour (philotimōs), to praise the competition director (agōnothetēn) Agathaios son of Autokles of Prospalta
for his piety to the gods and love of honour (philotimias) (20) for the Council and Athenian People; and when he submits the accounts for his
term according to the law he shall obtain from the People whatever benefit he is deemed
worthy of; and the prytany secretary shall inscribe this
decree on a stone stele and stand it in the [sanctuary of Dionysos];
and for the making and erection of the stele the administrator (ton epi tēi dioikēsei) (25) shall allocate the expenditure accrued.
Decree 2 In the archonship of Thersilochos (251/0), the [ninth] prytany, of AntigonisI, for which
Diodotos son of Diognetos of PhrearrhioiVI was secretary. On the twenty-first (dekatēi husterai) of
Elaphebolion, the twenty-fourth of the prytany. Assembly in (the theatre) of Dionysos.
Of the presiding committee Cha- son of - of Oe was putting to the vote and his fellow presiding committee members.

for the remainder of the term for which the Council and People elected him
