[1] From the reference to the “temple attendant” this dedication might be attributed to the cult of the Egyptian deities (cf. IG II³ 4, 1113) or Asklepios. There is a cutting in the top for insertion of a votive. The priest might have been related to Menekles son of Teisamenos of Kydathenaion on the fun. mon. Agora XVII 199.
