Transliterations on Places on

[1] The relief represents, to the left, a man with a chiton and a chlamys, and, on the right, Athena, with helmet and bow. These may be hieropoioi of a deme (D. Whitehead, The Demes of Attica, 1986, 142-43), or more likely a thiasos, cf. IG II³ 4, 637, 648. The name Paphlagon would suit a mine worker of foreign and/or servile origin (cf. IG II³ 4, 633).
