Aigeis was victorious in the men’s competition, Euagides son of Ktesias of Philaidai was sponsor (echorēgei),^[1] Lysimachides of Epidamnos was pipe-player, Charilaos of Lokris was director (edidaske), Euthykritos (328/7) was archon.

[1] This Ionic epistyle block is part of a fourth-century choregic dedication commemorating a victory in the dithyrambic competition at the City Dionysia (cf. IG II³ 4, 460 with notes). It was recorded near the theatre of Dionysos by the Italian humanist and antiquarian Cyriacus of Ancona in 1436, then in a more mutilated state by A. R. Rangabé in Antiquités Helléniques II, 1855, no. 975 to the east of the theatre. Since the stone is now missing, it is not possible to reconstruct the complete structure to which this inscription belonged. Euagides is not otherwise known, but his father, Ktesias son of Euagides, was involved in mining business near Laureion perhaps in 346/5 (Agora XIX P 19, l. 25), and it appears that mining profits may have raised the family to the liturgical class in the third quarter of the fourth century (cf. Davies, APF 5232).
