Honours for the prytany of Kekropis

Decree 2 In the archonship of Euthykritos (189/8), in the ninth prytany, of Aiantis,
for which Kephalos son of Kephalos of KydantidaiV was secretary.
On the twenty-seventh (tetradi met' eikadas) of Anthesterion, the eighth of the
prytany. Council in the Council chamber. Of the presiding committee
(5) - son of - of Probalinthos was putting to the vote and his fellow presiding committee members.
Xenokrates son of - of - proposed: since the prytany of Kekropis
and those who have permanent dining rights have praised and crowned
Philinos of Pithos, the treasurer whom they chose from themselves,
and have declared to the Council that he has made all the sacrifices which are proper in the
(10) prytany on behalf of the Council and the People, and has taken care
of everything else well and with love of honour (philotimōs), for good fortune,
the Council shall decide to praise the treasurer, Philinos of Pithos, and
the secretary, - of Aixone, and to crown each of them
with a foliage crown and to praise also the priest of the eponymous,
(15) - of -, and the secretary of the Council
and the People, - of -, and the under-secretary
- of -, and the herald of the Council and the People,
Eukles of Berenikidai and the pipe-player, Neokles of Berenikidai;
and the prytany secretary shall inscribe this decree
(20) on a stone stele and stand it in [the prytanikon] . . . . . .
