Honours for a prytany

. . . of the People and has also taken care of everything else
well and with love of honour (philotimōs), for good fortune, the Council shall decide, to
praise the treasurer, S- son of - of - ,
and to crown him with a foliage crown; and to praise
(5) also the secretary, Apol- son of - of - ,
and the priest of the eponymous, - son of -
of Semachidai, and the secretary of the Council and the
People, Philon son of Philon of the Eupyridai, and the undersecretary,
Lysimachos son of Aristokrates of Aphidna, and the herald of the Council
(10) and the People, Eukles son of Eukles of Berenikidai, and the
pipe-player, Kallikrates son of Kallikrates of Thorikos, and the treasurer
of the Council, Sostratos son of Nikostratos of Cholargos, and to crown
each of them with a foliage crown; and
the prytany secretary shall inscribe this decree on a stone
(15) stele and stand it in the prytanikon, [and for the inscribing
and the setting up] of the stele [the treasurer] shall defray
the accrued cost.
