The people of the Athenians (erected this statue of) Gaius Julius, son of Gaius, Caesar, pontifex maximus and commander, and consul for the second time, the [common] benefactor of the Greeks,[1] uninscribed space (5) [when the manager (epimelētou) of the island] was Agathostratos son of Dionysios of Pallene.[2]
