For Good fortune of the Council and People of Athens, in the archonship of Antigenes at Delphi and of Architimos at Athens, uninscribed space the following held the Dodekais:^[1] the priest of Apollo Eukles son of Herodes of Marathon, the interpreter (exēgētēs) from the Eupatridai appointed by the People Diotimos (5)son of Diodoros of Halai, uninscribed space the herald of Apollo Gorgippos son of Eudemos of Melite, uninscribed space ^[2] the seer (mantis) Lysias son of Paramonos of Lakiadai.

[1] This inscription is an abbreviated version of the participant list for the first Augustan Dodekais (the fuller version is F.Delphes III 2, 59 with notes), inscribed on the southern wall of the Athenian Treasury in the sanctuary of Apollo at Delphi. It is unclear why the participants in the first Dodekais were inscribed twice. Colin argued that this version was a first draft and that the full version was added later because this one was incomplete (cf. F.Delphes III 2, p. 67, n. 1). This is strongly suggested by the fact that the second to fourth Dodekais lists were added directly underneath and to the left of the full version (F.Delphes III 2, 59), so that the four inscriptions form a cluster, while the abbreviated version is inscribed separately from all other Dodekais inscriptions. The abbreviated version would then predate all other Dodekais inscriptions.

Several officials were omitted from this version: the interpreter chosen by the Pythian oracle (exegetes pythochrestos), Polykritos; the sacred remembrancer (hieromnemon), Thrasykles; and one of the seers, Archikles. The inclusion of the sacred remembrancer in the second version may be a response to the honours Thrasykles received from the Delphians in the same year as this inscription (F.Delphes III 2, 67). In the full version of the list, Archikles appears as seer before Lysias, whereas in this version Lysias appears as the only seer. Archikles may have been placed before him in the other version because his family had played a special role in arranging the first Dodekais. [2] Three uninscribed spaces after the names of the archons, between the interpreter and the herald, and between the herald and the seer structure the text. The last two may indicate distinctions in social status between the priest and interpreter, the herald, and the seer (cf. F.Delphes III 2, 59 with notes).
