Honours for the ephebes and officials

. . . . . . . . . from - because . . . . . . and following the laws; and to praise the physical trainer (paidotribēn) Hermodoros son of Heortios of Acharnai and (5) the javelin instructor (akontistēn) Lysikles son of Antipatros of Sypalettos and the weapons trainer (hoplomachēn) Nikandros son of Nikandros of Ankyle and the secretary Hermogenes, because they managed the ephebes well and [justly?]; and so that there may be a memorial (hupomnēma) [of their good will?], the prytany secretary shall inscribe the (10) names of the ephebes and of their superintendent (kosmētou) and of their instructors on a stone stele and stand it [in the agora . . . and for the] stele and [its erection? the administrator (ton epi tēi dioikēsei) shall allocate the expenditure] accrued. . . .
