. . . having been treasurer (?)^[1] on behalf of his fellow ephebes in the archonship of Leukios (59/8 BC) (dedicated this) to Hermes (5) in the trainership (paidotribountos) of Meniskos of Kolonai, in the assistant-trainership (hupopaidotribountos) of Athlos of Kolonai.

[1] On the ephebic dedications of the Hellenistic period see IG II³ 4, 357 with n. 1. The ephebes had their own treasurer, cf. IG II³ 4, 374, l. 15. The reading of l. 1 is not quite certain (“of Paiania”, i.e. from the name of the dedicator, is an alternative possibility). Meniskos of Kolonai is well-known, cf. Athenian Onomasticon; K. F. Daly, Hesperia 78, 2009, 406-19. On the date of the archon Leukios cf. IG II³ 4, 386.
