        (5) of the Athenian People, both himself
        and his descendants  . . .    . . .  if he has any need  . . .   he shall have right of access to the Council
        and the People after the religious business or after the sacrifices (meta ta hiera);[1] and
        (10) should he need anything
        from the People, both the Council
        in office at any time and the prytany
        and the generals shall take care of him; and the
        prytany secretary (grammatea ton kata prutaneian)  (15) shall inscribe the proxeny for him on a stone
        stele and stand it on the acropolis,
        so that others may also know that
        the People knows how to give thanks
        to its benefactors
