[1] On the Pythais, see IG II³ 4, 18 with notes. [2] The untidy inscription runs above and below a relief showing the dedicant to the right approaching Apollo (seated) and Artemis (standing) to the left. The relief is from the Pythion at Ikarion, one of a number of votive reliefs found, or putatively found, there. See IG II³ 4, 632, with notes; IG II³ 4, 639; 942. On the deme Ikarion and its inscriptions see IG I³ 1015, wth notes. The style of the relief would suit a date ca. 330/20 BC, raising the possibility that it was dedicated on the occasion of the Pythais attested by IG II³ 4, 18. This date also suits the identification of Peisikrates as brother of Aiskias son of Akrotimos, councillor for Ikarion in 304/3 BC (Agora XV 61, l. 45). Cf. Humphreys, Kinship, 862.
