         [Proxeny for Theophantos.?]  [In the archonship of Niketes (332/1). In the?]  [second prytany, of -,?]  [for which Aristonous son of Aristonous?]  [of Anagyrous was secretary.?]  [On the ninth of Boedromion, the thirty-second?]  [of the prytany. Principal?]  [Assembly. Of the presiding committee (proedrōn)?]  [ ... was putting to the vote.?]  [Polyeuktos son of Sostratos of Sphettos?]  [proposed: since Theophantos?]  [son of - of -?]  (1) [displays] his [good will towards]  the Athenians, to praise him;
        and he shall be proxenos
        and benefactor of the
        (5) Athenian People; and the prytany secretary (grammatea ton kata prutaneian)  shall inscribe the decree
        for him and stand it
        on the acropolis; and the treasurer
        of the People shall give 20 drachmas
        (10) for inscribing the stele
        from the People’s fund for
        expenditure on decrees.[1]
