Herm for Aelius Apollonios

This man,[1] born of dadouchs,[2] and of a sacred mother[3] who displayed the ceremonies (teletas) for the two goddesses[4] by the temple (anaktora)[5] of Deo, (5) Aelius Apollonios,[1] renowned superintendent (kosmētora) of boys, was set up by his son of the same name,[6] who was archon of ephebes.
