The Areopagos Council and the Council of the 500 and the People (erected this statue of) Titus Flavius G[laukias] (5) of Acharnai.[1] Glaukias’ son [bearing great repute (kudos) from his ancestors], once his mother Athen[ais’ hope, but now her woe], [having completed only one year] past seventeen,[2] fate has taken you, [dearest of youths, into the Dark (Erebos)], (10) but a great city, [having been allotted the grief of your death], assigns immortal honours [with this image (tupōi)] uninscribed space (Work) of Antiphon.[3] uninscribed space while the temple attendant (zakoreuontos) was – son of - [4]
