Honours for Philomelos

. . . . . . so that also others who, being
well disposed, show love of honour (philotimōntai) concerning the
Athenian People, may know that
(5) the People will honour them as each deserves,
the Council shall decide: that the presiding committee (proedrous) allotted to preside at the next
Assembly shall introduce Philomelos
to the People and place his case on the agenda first after
(10) [the sacred business (hiera)], and submit the opinion of the
Council to the People that it seems good to the Council,
since Philomelos is a good man concerning
