[1] This funerary kioniskos for Aristion was excavated just north of Kotzias Square, north of the ancient city wall, in the cemetery on modern Aiolou street that lines the road leading north from the so-called 'Acharnian' gate in the northern section of the city walls (Mapping Ancient Athens, no. 1469, A.
