[1] This funerary inscription is carved on the epistyle of a pediment containing a shield design that crowned a now lost lower section. The spelling of Olympias with nu for mu was common in the Roman period (see Threatte, Grammar I, 597). The inscription is immured in the so-called Little Metropolis Church (for other inscriptions in this spolia-rich church, see IG II² 6419).
