Honours for the prytany of Attalis

         Decree 1  Gods
        In the archonship of Alexis (173/2), in the second prytany, of Attalis.
        On the twenty-first (dekatei husterai) of Metageitnion, the nineteenth
        of the prytany. Assembly in the Piraeus. Of the presiding committee
        (5) Euboulides son of Promethi- of - was putting to the vote and his fellow presiding committee members.
        Onesandros son of Onetor of Kydathenaion proposed: concerning what
        the prytany of Attalis reports about the sacrifices
        which they made before the Assemblies to Apollo Prostaterios
        and to Artemis Boulaia and Phosphoros and
        (10) to the other gods for whom it is customary, for good fortune, the
        People shall decide to welcome the good results that have occurred in the sacrifices which
        they made for the health and preservation of the Council, the People and
        the allies; and, since the prytany has made all the sacrifices
        which are proper in the prytany well and with love of honour (philotimōs)  (15) and has also taken care of the convening of the Council and the
        People and of everything else which the laws and the decrees
        of the People prescribe for it, to praise the prytany
        of Attalis and to crown it with a gold crown according
        to the law, for its piety towards the gods and its love of
        (20) honour towards the Council and the People of the Athenians; and the
        prytany secretary shall inscribe this decree
        on a stone stele and stand it in the prytanikon; and for the
        inscribing of the stele and its setting up the administrator (ton epi tei dioikēsei)  shall defray the accrued cost.

         Decree 2  In the archonship of Alexis (173/2), in the third prytany, of Pandionis.
        On the eighth of intercalated Metageitnion, the
        fourth of the prytany. Council in the Council chamber. Of the presiding committee
        (45) Demokedes son of Ariston of L- was putting to the vote
        and his fellow presiding committee members. The Council decided. Ariston son of -
        of Leukonoion proposed: since the prytany of Attalis
        and those with permanent dining rights have praised and crowned
        the treasurer, whom they chose from themselves, Kassandrides of Sounion, and declare to the Council
        (50) that he has performed all the proper sacrifices
        in the prytany on behalf of the Council and
        the People and has also taken care of everything else
        well and with love of honour (philotimōs), for good fortune, the Council shall decide to praise
        the treasurer Kassandrides son of Myron of Sounion and
        (55) to crown him with a foliage crown; and to praise also the secretary
        Sokrates son of Apollodoros from Oe and the priest of the eponymous
        Adeimantos of Ikarion and the secretary of the Council and the
        People Charidemos of Lamptrai and the undersecretary Philochares
        of Acharnai and the herald of the Council and the People Philokles of
        (60) Trinemeia and the pipe-player Kallikrates of Thorikos and the treasurer
        of the Council Nikosthenes of Potamos and to crown each
        of them with a foliage crown; and the prytany secretary shall inscribe
        this decree on a stone stele and stand it
        in the prytanikon, and for the inscribing and the making of the
        (65) stele the treasurer of the military fund shall defray (the accrued cost).
