In the archonship of Diokles (286/5), in the
eighth prytany, of LeontisVI, for which Xenophon
5 son of Nikeas of HalaiIV was secretary.
On the nineteenth of Anthesterion,
the nineteenth of the prytany.
Assembly. Of the presiding committee
Polyeuktos son of Demetrios of -
10 was putting to the vote and his fellow presiding committee members.
The People decided. Paramythos son of Polystratos
of Paiania proposed: since Habron
of - and Matrias of Nesos . . . of the People grain . . . 15 . . . necessity . . . . . . . . . for good fortune, the People
shall decide: to praise Habron of
- and Matrias of Nesos 20 and to crown each of them
with a gold crown according to the law
for the love of honour and good will which
they continue to have for the
Council and the Athenian People;
25 and they shall be proxenoi of the
People; and they shall have right of ownership of land
according to the laws, and a house; and the secretary of the People
shall inscribe this decree on a stone stele and stand it . . . . . .
