[1] This inscription was transcribed by the pioneering 19th-century epigraphist, K. Pittakis, but has not been seen since. It was on an altar, apparently from the temple of Roma and Augustus on the Acropolis, on which see IG II³ 4, 10. On the cult of Augustus at Athens, see Agora XVI 336 with notes.
