[1] IG, following Geagan, dates this fragment to the beginning of the 4th cent. BC. However, if, as seems likely, it was from a dedication commemorating the crowning of a Council prytany or other official(s) after successful completion of their term of office, the explicit reference to crowning would suggest a date after 357/6 BC, cf. AIO Papers 9 sect. 4 (SEG 68.77).
