[1] This marble plaque may be part of a series of dedications by Athenian archons in the Cave of Apollo on the north face of the Athenian acropolis. For details, see IG II³ 4, 128. [2] The text on the stone is very difficult to read and has perhaps been subject to deliberate erasure. The reading given here follows IG II³. The traces at the beginning of l. 2 appear to be STA (Statilius, Geagan).
