Decree of (Rhamnous and?) Athenian residents there honouring Archandros of Eleusis
I Rhamnous 28 Date: ca. 248 BC
. . . and to inscribe this decree on a stone stele and stand it wherever
he may wish; and for the [inscribing and making of the stele] those chosen shall contribute the expenditure incurred.[1] uninscribed space These were chosen for the dedication:
(5) Attalos son of Timaios of Thria, Dromeas son of Teisandros of Eitea,
Strombichos son of Kleodorides of Rhamnous, -kinetos son of Hegesikles of Eitea,
Menandros son of Teisandros of Eitea, -os son of Aischrion of Trikorynthos,
Timotheos son of Theogeiton of Rhamnous, Lysikleides son of Nikostratos of Rhamnous,
Kleochares son of Teisonides of Rhamnous, K[le]o[chares] son of Kleodorides of Rhamnous (10)[The] community (koinon) of those [living] at Rhamnous (honour) Archandros (15)of Eleusis.
