[1] AIO tentatively reproduces the text as I restored it, ZPE 110, 1996, 79-81 (SEG 46.229), which yields a boundary marker of a house "of the phratry Ionidai", citing as parallels for the wording the two phratry horoi, IG II² 2621 (Phratries, T1, "horos of phratry Achniadai") and 2622 (T23, "horos of house of phrateres"). Ionidai is otherwise known in Attica as a small deme (bouleutic quota 1-2) of the inland trittys of Aigeis (cf. SEG 39.148); but there were several demes which had names similar to or the same as phratries or groups within them (e.g. (Eteo)boutadai, Dekeleia/Dekeleieis, Thymaitis/Thymaitadai) and it would not be especially surprising to find the "house" of an extra-urban phratry in the area of the Agora. In 1996 I dated the inscription to "4th cent.-earlier 3rd cent.", but the lettering (e.g. large/fat round letters or parts of letters) now seems to me to suggest ca. 400-350 BC. On phratries cf.
