. . . [1] the People [of the Athenians, and to announce] this [crown] [at the tragedies of the City Dionysia in the new] competition;
[the generals shall take care of this announcement];
and he shall be granted [citizenship, having been scrutinised in the] (5) court; [and the court presidents (thesmothetas), when they have filled the courts] [with five hundred and] one [jurors, shall introduce the] scrutiny [of the
enrolment of citizens (politographias); and he shall be enrolled in the tribe and] deme
[and phratry that he wishes] . . .
