(5) on decrees; and the generals in office at any time
and the Council that happens to be in office at any time shall take care
of them, so that they suffer no harm; and if this
decree lacks anything, the Council shall be empowered
to vote whatever seems to it to be best; and these things shall apply
(10) to them, until they return to their fatherland . . . . . . saved; and also to invite . . . . . . to hospitality in the [city hall (prutaneion)] tomorrow;
and these things shall be for the protection (phulakēn) of the country (chōras); and
