[1] Textual note: Peek proposed to restore the text as, [εἰκόνα δὴ σωθεὶς ἐκ τ]οίων τεύξα[το τήνδε | τόν τε θεὸν τιμ]ῶν σεμνοτάτην [τε θεάν or τ’ἄλοχον] (“[Having been saved from] such things, he had made [this image | honouring both the god and] the most solemn [goddess or wife, i.e. Hygieia]”), but this is speculative and seems more appropriate for a dedication at the Asklepieion than at the sanctuary of Amynos.

This is a fragment from a relief plaque dedicated in the sanctuary of Amynos, on which see (IG II³ 4, 902 with notes). The relief shows a bearded man (the dedicator or a doctor?), hunched over a large, disembodied leg with a bulging vein. At left there is a small square depression containing a pair of disembodied feet. These must be anatomical votives, on which see AIUK 4.5, pp. 69; J. Draycott and E.-J. Graham, Bodies of Evidence (2017). Thus, the relief depicts its own dedication. The dedicator, Lysimachides, was eponymous archon in 339/8 BC (see APF 9480).
