Antisthenes son of Antiphates of Kytherros, serving as sponsor (chorēgōn),^[1] was victorious for Pandionis (and) Akamantis in the boys' competition Eukles was director (edidaske), (5)Kleanthes of Sikyon was pipe-player^[2] in the archonship of Kallimedes (360/59).

[1] This marble rounded base is a choregic dedication commemorating a victory in dithyrambic competitions at the Thargelia (cf. IG II³ 4, 475 with notes). The stone has a capstone for mounting the tripod. Antisthenes son of Antiphates of Kytherros (cf. Davies, APF 1194) served as priest of Pandion in the middle of the fourth century (IG II³ 4, 230), owned property in the mining area at Amphitrope (Agora XIX P26, ll. 359-61; P27, l. 59; P30, l. 22), and served as sole trierarch in the early 330s (IG II² 1623, l. 227; 1629, l. 569). For this victory, he was honoured by the tribe Pandionis (IG II² 1138, ll. 27-29). [2] On the choral team of Akamantis/Pandionis and on Eukles, see IG II³ 4, 480. On Kleanthes of Sikyon, cf.
