Aurelius Aphrodeisios son of Hermagoras of Acharnai, (5) having been tended by Asklepios Mounichios and Hygieia, dedicated this to them.^[1]

[1] The findspot indicates that this marble plaque was dedicated in the sanctuary of Asklepios at Zea in Piraeus, on which see IG I³ 1081. Asklepios’ epithet Mounichios refers to Mounichia, a major hill in Piraeus (cf. IG II³ 4, 663, l. 5). The dedicator is otherwise unknown, but his nomen Aurelius suggests that he lived after Caracalla’s grant of Roman citizenship to all free people of the empire in 213 AD. The stone was part of the private collection of the archaeologist and antiquities dealer Athenasios Rhousopoulos (inv. 1508) in the late 19^th century. Its current whereabouts are unknown.
