[1] Apart from this decree of Rhamnous and Athenian residents, Phoxias was also honoured by I Rhamnous 417, a citation in a crown from the end of a decree of citizen soldiers honouring Phoxias son of Leosthenes of Perithoidai, and by IG II³ 4, 299, a dedication commemorating the crowning of Phoxias as general by the soldiers, the "hidden agents" (kryptoi) and the "select associates" (prosairetoi). All three inscriptions were dated by Petrakos to the "end of the 3rd century", but Knoepfler, pp. 150-2, argues from the absence of firm evidence for the kryptoi after the liberation of Athens in 229 BC, for a date before that, and points out that the style of the cutter identified by Petrakos as responsible for this inscription can also be found on the decree of kryptoi of ca. 232 BC (archon Mneseides), I Rhamnous 20. It is unclear whether the three inscriptions honouring Phoxias relate to the same year or to separate generalships.

As Petrakos points out, the three members of the commission for the erection of the stele come from Rhamnous and two demes, Trikorynthos and Eitea, in the same neighbourhood; and Kleoboulos of Eitea was most likely father (or more distant ancestor) of the Kleagoras son of Kleoboulos of Eitea who is commemorated at Rhamnous on the funerary monument, I Rhamnous 289=SEMA 850 (found in the remains of the so-called peribolos of the Eiteans, a funerary enclosure at Rhamnous containing monuments of families of Eitea, cf. R. Osborne, in S. D. Lambert, ed. Sociable Man, 2011, 35; Petrakos, Ho Demos tou Rhamnountos. I Topographia, 1999, pp. 407-11). Assuming that the "other Athenian citizens resident at Rhamnous" were more or less identical with the "citizen soldiers stationed at Rhamnous", as the apparently interchangeable use of those terms in the inscriptions of Rhamnous would suggest, these phenomena tend to suggest that the citizen soldiers stationed at Rhamnous would not infrequently be resident there or in the vicinity for relatively extensive periods of time. Cf. the connections between the Amphieraïstai of IRhamnous 167 and the decree honouring the trierarch, Menandros, I Rhamnous 31 (see notes thereto).
