         In the archonship of Diokles (286/5), in the ninth prytany,
        of KekropisIX. On the old and new day (henei kai neai) of Elaphebolion, the thirtieth
        of the prytany. Principal Assembly. Of the presiding committee
        (- - -)[1] was putting to the vote. The Council and the People
        (5) decided. - son of - of Aphidna
        proposed: since -t-[2], enjoying the trust and friendship of
        king Lysimachos and despatched by king
        Lysimachos to the People on embassies
         . . .  to king Lysimachos and the
        (10) Athenian People, and, on returning to the king, at
        every opportunity  . . .  whatever good he can
        on behalf of the People; and he co-operates with the embassies
        despatched to the king in whatever way
        they request of him, for good fortune, the Council shall decide:
