Philokrates son of Philokles of Rhamnous proposed:[1] for good fortune, that the Rhamnousians shall decide,
since Diomedes son of Diodoros of Ptelea,
having been elected general by the Athenian
(5) People, took care of the Rhamnousians well and [with love of honour (philotimōs)], saving
the fort for the Rhamnousians and the Athenian
People, to praise Diomedes son of Diodoros [and crown him with a gold crown?] . . .
