[1] On the deme Halai Aixonides and its inscriptions see RO 46, with notes. With SEG 49.141 and SEG 49.143, this is one of three fragmentary decrees from the deme's Aphrodision. This small fragment is important, because it allows the identification of the structure where it was found as the Aphrodision. AIO's text of this fragment follows Steinhauer's, but omits his restoration, ταμία[ν τῶν θείων, "treasurer [of the gods]".
