[1] From the inclusion among the demes of Oineis of Kothokidai (22), which was transferred to the new tribe, Demetrias, in 307/6 BC, this fragmentary list can be dated to before that year; Meritt and Traill suggest ca. 330 BC. It may be from a prytany dedication of Oineis (on this genre of inscription see IG I³ 515). They note that this is not certain, however, since Oe has one more representative and Kothokidai one less (and Epikephisia also one less) than on the list of 360/59, IG II³ 4, 56, "but such slight variations in quota from year to year, though not common, do occur" (cf. Agora XV 39). The original back is not preserved and it is also possible this was from a list of the whole Council rather than of a single prytany. On that genre see AIO 2776, with notes. 17 The name Euphronios is not common and this is probably the Euphronios son of Polykrates of Oe in ca. 323 BC at IG XII 9, 1242, l. 7.
