[1] Textual note: The stone is known only from K. S. Pittakis L’ancienne Athènes (1835) 135-36. He clearly misread some letters, but the rough sense is clear, except in l. 1 where Dittenberger in IG III 186 suggested … -ον Ἀσκ[ληπιῷ], “-on (i.e. a female name), to As[klepios],” but a personal name like Onasas is also possible. In l. 5 Pittakis suggested restoring μετὰ τῶν ἰα[τρῶν] (“with the doctors,” meaning that the doctors and Asklepios had working in concord or that the doctors had joined the patient in erecting the dedication?).

Pittakis apparently saw the stone on the north slope of the Acropolis. The references to sickness and communication in a dream suggests that this was a dedication to a healing deity, most likely Asklepios, in which case it might derive from the hypothesised sanctuary of Asklepios and Hygieia in the City Eleusinion (SEG 44.79 with notes) or the one in the Diogeneion gymnasium (IG II³ 4, 871 with notes).
