[Lysistratos] son of Atarbos of Thorikos, serving as sponsor (chorēgōn),^[1] was victorious for Akamantis (and) Pandionis^[2] . . . -ios was director (edidasken), . . . -os was archon.^[3]

[1] This marble rectangular base is a choregic dedication commemorating a victory in dithyrambic competitions at the Thargelia (cf. IG II³ 4, 475 with notes). The stone has two holes on the top for a tripod. The name of the sponsor is reconstructed from SEG 30.128. [2] For the choral team of Akamantis/Pandionis, cf. IG II³ 4, 480. [3] Unusually, the name of the pipe-player appears to be omitted (cf. IG II³ 4, 481, 495).
