2 Apr 2026: In this release we complete our coverage of the inscriptions documenting the deme Rhamnous, publishing the archaic account on lead from the sanctuary of Nemesis, I Rhamnous 181, and revising the 5th century accounts on stone, I Rhamnous 182, which becomes the key entry for the deme. We publish the double lease of deme properties in Hermos of 339/8 BC, I Rhamnous 512; and the remaining decrees of the deme acting alone: I Rhamnous 63, 14, 13, revising those already on AIO, I Rhamnous 15, 6, 7, 58. We also publish or revise the hybrid decrees, all or nearly all of them datable to the 3rd century BC, issued jointly by the deme and other resident Athenians, mostly soldiers serving in the fort: I Rhamnous 403, 4, 73, 401, 408, 405, 2, 16, 5, 9, 407, 28, 17, 418, 52, 54, 31, 39, 37, 56, 57, 426, 435. We also revise the 4 decrees of citizen residents/soldiers currently on AIO issued independently of the deme: I Rhamnous 1, 10, 19, 50.
