This is part of a catalogue of prytaneis of Hippothontis from a post-Sullan prytany decree (see SEG 28.95 with notes). Prosopography suggests a date ca. 45–20 BC. The top of the stele is preserved, including a cavetto-crowned cyma reversa with projecting fillet above the inscribed surface. [2] Lucius Mondus’ name indicates that he was a Roman citizen (l. 10). It is unclear whether the other three individuals with Latin names (ll. 2, 6, 18) were Romans. On Athenians with Roman citizenship in this period, see Agora XV 272 with notes.
