[1] This dedication, discovered in excavations at the Olympieion, derives from the city sanctuary of Artemis Kolainis, whose precise location is unknown, and to which IG II³ 4, 1744 and perhaps 1104 also relate. All three inscriptions may imply a healing function for this deity. Artemis Kolainis also had a sanctuary in the deme Myrrhinous (IG II³ 4, 1099; 1103; IG II² 1182, ll. 19-20, with note); and two seats for priests of Artemis Kolainis in the city theatre of Dionysos are extant, IG II³ 4, 1907, 1976.
